New contents and a new stylistic code for the man presented at WHITE, attracted by quality fashion, enthralling and far from the big names that dominate the Italian and international market.

This is the direction of the collaboration with Wok, Milan-based concept store among the most attentive to the international news of experimental brands.

The WOKROOM, to be inaugurated in June, will bring to no. 27 via Tortona a mix of avant-garde designers coming from all over the world, already devoted to international success with buyers and press, and yet “emerging” for their stylistic language.

Special guest Kokon To Zai, brand composed by the couple Sasko Bezovski and Marjan Pejoski, presenting its experimental style, shared between London and Japan.

Japanese taste is then prosecuted in Japanproxy’ survey, a platform that looks for small Japanese independent businesses distributing accessories like Bag ‘N ‘Noun e Baggy Port. From Japan, we move to Singapore with the jewels featuring a surreal and primitive style by Vice & Vanity.

The Italian talents will be headed by Lucio Vanotti with neat, tailored-cut silhouettes that follow a harmony distinguished by pureness and rationality. Another new Milan rising star is Tothem, a supporter of a “neo-exhibitionist” style that looks into the modern techniques of digital print on fabrics through creative photographic backgrounds that are renewed each season.

Designed in New York but with an Italian quality, also the glasses 8000eyewear, available in three different models -round, squared, triangular- and in four colors, all produced in a limited edition with the Italian meticulous attention to details, form, quality.

Style and quality go hand in hand with Uppercut’s research, mixing together an urban-street background with materials from couture, such as cashmere and jacquard cottons, alternating with an innovative taste of technical materials, creating reflecting details and heatwelded garments.

Print on scarves is presented by SuTurno, a Spanish brand that proposes scarves, bags and cushions accurately manufactured by local artisans, combining quality materials and innovative graphics.

Patterns on fabrics represent a language also shared by Julian Zigerli, rising star of the Swiss design which for three years showcases in Berlin his collections featuring a technique that reminds paint on canvas.

The Nordic taste will have its hand in the show also with the Swedish watches Tidwatches and the accessories Norsk Mand, a Scandinavian brand that produces leather wallets and briefcases with a range of small leather goods for new technologies like iphones and ipads.

Cases are covered with precious woods with Wood’d, a new Italian designer which produces office and kitchen wooden stuff.

To close the creativity series signed by WOK we have Simona Vanth, a pseudonym that signs the creations by Simona Citarella, soul of the store with Federica Zambon, who, after numerous collaborations with names on the international fashion system such as Dolce & Gabbana, BStore and Opening Ceremony, has created a brand of shoes that combines the best of the luxury Italian manufacturing and innovative inspirations drawn from fashion, art and design.

Thanks to a complicity established under the sign of original and innovative fashion, from 22 to 24 June 2013, White and WOK invite you all to the new WOKROOM at 27 via Tortona, the new hub conceived by the cooperation with the store that since 2007 has been celebrating a refined language, selecting for Milan those brands that are far from the city in terms of character and approach.
