WOK presents SALONE DI MARTE
A collection of furniture designed by Pablo Limon to present a selection of rare volumes of design, fashion and architecture published by Idea Books
Throught this collaboration aims to become a landmark for all those who, during the busy days of design week, are hunting for confrontation and content. “Salone di Marte” is a content-container, designed by Spanish designer Pablo Limon, where there will be a reading area with bookshelves, coat racks, chairs and tables designed by the designer and assembled by himself. Here will be presented, in consultation and for sale, a selection of rare books about design, fashion and architecture of the sought-Idea Books Publishing House.
SALONE DI MARTE
Pablo Limon, young self-taught designer from Madrid, settled in London, designed for Wok a space dedicated to reading, comparing and relax. Wok aims to become a landmark for all those who, during the busy days of design week, are hunting for confrontation and content. “Salone di Marte” is a content-container, designed by Spanish designer Pablo Limon, where there will be a reading area with bookshelves, coat racks, chairs and tables designed by the designer and assembled by himself. Here will be presented, in consultation and for sale, a selection of rare books about design, fashion and architecture of the sought-Idea Books Publishing House.
Pablo Limon
Pablo Limon Miguez class of ’85 brought up in the underground culture of Madrid where he attended the course of GraphicDesign at European Institute for Design IED and lived there until 2006. He concluded his studies at the Milan branch and started working with the corporate identity studio Piter during the last year course.
In 2010 he moved to London where he decided to devote himself to design independently creating his own brand and founded the studio Pablo Limon. He has developed his first set of furniture and objects presented in the exhibition ‘Primera Piedra’ at Bstore London during Design Week 2010.
Wok with this collaboration aims to become during the Design Week 2011 a meeting place for young designers, industry veterans and artists of every kind that are always seeking for a ‘good inspiration’.
The consultation will be accompanied by live music and DJ sets, hot tea, coffee and beer.will be offered.

The initiative will continue throughout the whole spring, with an agenda of meetings and lectures also for children.
